Job Description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer (L1) to provide technical assistance to end-users and ensure smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and basic knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Provide Level 1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot OS (Windows), MS Office, and basic applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues (RAM, HDD, motherboard, peripherals, etc.).
  • Basic troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
  • Manage user accounts, password resets, and basic Active Directory tasks.

User Support

  • Provide on-site support for employees during login, setup, and basic IT issues.
  • Maintain good communication and ensure minimal downtime for users.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6 Months–3 years of experience in Desktop/IT Support
  • Good understanding of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking.
  • Knowledge of printers, scanners, and basic hardware replacement.
  • Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL, service desk tools is an added advantage
