Desktop Support Engineer L2

At Dossier Technologies, we rely on our IT team to help our business reach and succeed with consumers. We’re seeking an experienced systems administrator who’s eager to use and grow his technological skills. In this role, the successful individual will protect our critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT structure.

Objectives of this Role

· Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, firewall, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and other IT hardware

· Install, Maintain LAN and troubleshoot LAN network issues.

· Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights

· Maintain dependable IT infrastructure and networking that’s always up and running

· Strong knowledge of server operating systems, including Windows Server

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

· Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly

· Monitor system health using pre existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed

· New IT infra setup at locations assigned by us time to time.

· Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments

· Interact with our internal team / other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed

· Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups

Skills and Qualifications

· Proven work experience in IT as Desktop Support Engineer 3 + years

· Experience with Windows and knowledge of operating systems- windows, Linux, Mac and other supporting software; current equipment and technologies, and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools,

Windows active directories, knowledge of virtualization, security software’s, firewalls, remote desktop support

Troubleshoot and rectify LAN and WAN issues.

· Creating volumes, assigning to servers and remote replication

Other requirements

· Should have good communication skills. Should be able to convey problems and solutions to customer and to us.

· Must have a 2 wheeler to travel on service calls.

· Must be willing to travel outstation as and when required for work related.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
