Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems and excellent customer service skills to ensure a seamless experience for our users.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to operating systems including Windows and macOS.
  • Assist users with help desk inquiries and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Manage computer hardware setups, installations, and configurations.
  • Utilize Jira for tracking support requests and managing workflows.
  • Maintain firewall configurations and ensure network security protocols are followed.
  • Document issues and solutions in a clear and concise manner for future reference.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve overall service delivery.

Skills

  • Proficiency in operating systems: Windows and macOS.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and management.
  • Experience with help desk operations and customer service best practices.
  • Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and project management.
  • Understanding of firewall configurations and network security measures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
