Desktop Support Engineer

Kuwait City, Kuwait

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments, and a passion for delivering exceptional IT support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level support to users for desktop/laptop, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems
  • Respond to support tickets, phone calls, and emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Support end-users with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS, and common applications
  • Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes including provisioning and decommissioning of devices
  • Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to resolve complex issues
  • Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and user guides
  • Ensure all systems are compliant with company policies and security standards
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level technical support or vendors

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician, IT Support Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking concepts
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: KD40.000 - KD45.000 per day
