RF Labs’ mission is to make the social and cognitive benefits of gaming accessible to all. We started with smart poker tables that allow for player insights, business intelligence, and automated broadcasting. Now, we are using our card game tracking technology to build the arcade of the future: Showdown.
We're hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our small team of A+ people and manage / build our vast and quickly growing software infrastructure.
As a small, fast-paced team, we foster deep collaboration and ownership. You'll work directly with all members of the team and have a meaningful input across all aspects of the business - from initial concepts through to shipping products.

Streamline CI/CD processes: create and maintain reliable deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes to ensure our applications are delivered efficiently and consistently.
Implement monitoring and security: set up comprehensive monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and custom observability tools to ensure system reliability, and implement robust security practices to protect our infrastructure and data.
Develop internal tools: create custom utilities and scripts using Python, Bash, Typescript, and other technologies to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Enhance developer experience: implement tools and practices that streamline the development process, reduce friction, and help our engineering team deliver features faster and with higher quality.
Documentation and knowledge sharing: maintain comprehensive documentation of our infrastructure, deployment processes, and technical decisions to ensure team-wide understanding and continuity.
Customer deployments and relations: visit venues around the world to deploy and support our systems, providing hands-on assistance for new installations and troubleshooting existing deployments.
We are looking for a DevOps engineer with a strong background in systems architecture, infrastructure management, automation, and a passion for building robust, scalable systems. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
Challenge-driven: passion for tackling difficult engineering challenges and developing creative solutions to complex technical problems in a rapidly evolving environment.
Infrastructure expertise: significant experience with cloud platforms like AWS or DigitalOcean, and proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Containerization and orchestration: strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes or ECS, with experience deploying and managing microservices architectures.
Linux systems administration: deep understanding of Ubuntu or other Linux distributions, with experience in server management, networking, and security hardening.
Scripting and automation: proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go, with a focus on automating repetitive tasks and building internal tools.
CI/CD experience: knowledge of modern CI/CD practices and tools like GitHub Actions to implement efficient deployment pipelines.
Monitoring and observability: experience with monitoring systems like Prometheus, Grafana, and logging solutions like ELK Stack or Loki.
Problem-solving mindset: ability to troubleshoot complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions under pressure.
Documentation skills: commitment to creating and maintaining clear, comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools.
We'll treat you well. If there are any other benefits that are important to you, we'd like to hear.
Competitive salary and equity — multiple options based on your desire for ownership.
