Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 9 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Research & Development to find optimized and proper usage of development tools or

technologies such as:
o KAFKA
o Kubernetes
o Docker
o APIGEE
o Bitbucket, Gitlab
o Jenkins, Ansible, Sonar, NexusIQ, Fortify
o ELK
o Dynatrace
o Terraform
o Future Dev Practices tools

To contribute technical expertise in related projects that are using the above-mentioned technologies and other technical transformation projects.
Assist the development teams on practice adoption (e.g., Unit Testing, Code Reviews, Code Quality)

o Update maturity matrix
o Enrich documents and write guidelines for the ADM to follow.

Review and ensure compliance of the defined software/ product development best practices.
Stay current on software/ product development trends & tools.
Review and validate specific releases against the Dev Practices Guidelines.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
5+ years of practical experience in IT industry
5+ years of practical experience in software development of web applications (Spring, Angular, SQL, Redis, Git, Jenkins, Kafka, Maven…)

Mandatory

Strong analytical & critical thinking skills
Excellent team player and strong interpersonal skills
Expertise in

o CICD
o DevOps
o Event driven architecture.
o Cloud native principles

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes
Strong knowledge of Linux
Strong Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python and/or Bash preferred)
Good knowledge on CI tools (Git, Jenkins, Nexus, JUnit)
Working knowledge of cloud platforms
Experience in developing cloud native applications.
Experience with diverse technologies

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Plus

Experience with software development methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall)
Having experience with GitLab runner is a plus point

Specific Qualifications (if required)

Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio
Familiar with project management tools as well as issue and release management, production and support (JIRA, ServiceNow, PPM tools, etc)
