Why this role matters

As the dedicated Developer on our Development & AI team, you’ll own the backend services and dashboards that keep our e-commerce engine running smoothly. Your work will eliminate repetitive tasks, surface real-time insights for inventory and sales, and free our AI engineers to focus on higher-level automation.

What you’ll do

• Design & build backend systems for reporting, marketplace integrations (Amazon SP-API, SellerCloud), and workflow automation
• Maintain & evolve our architecture supporting order processing, SKU monitoring, and fulfillment analytics
• Collaborate with AI engineers to maximise code reuse and performance across data pipelines
• Automate daily monitoring for every SKU and department, aiming to cut manual effort by 60 %+
• Ship reliably—tools should maintain < 5 % failure in production
• Support & optimise existing internal apps as business needs grow

What makes you a great fit

• 3–5 yrs building production-grade backend systems (Python preferred)
• Strong grasp of scalable architecture & relational databases
• Proven record integrating third-party APIs and automating data flows
• Comfortable in fast-moving, startup-style environments—bias for execution
• Clear communicator who partners well with ops, logistics, compliance, CS, and marketing
• Bonus: experience with e-commerce or retail data models, AI/ML workflows, or BI tooling
