Role description

Job Title: Salesforce CPQ Business Analyst

Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Kochi/Trivandrum/Gurgaon/Noida/Hyd/Pune

Experience Range:

  • Total IT Experience: Minimum 5 years

  • Salesforce.com Experience: Minimum 4 years

  • Salesforce CPQ Project Experience: Minimum 2-3 end-to-end implementations

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce CPQ Business Analyst who will lead the requirements gathering and solution design phases of complex Salesforce CPQ implementations. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and experience in managing end-to-end client interactions, particularly in global, multi-vendor environments.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Salesforce CPQ Expertise:

    • Product Features and Bundles

    • Product Rules, Price Rules

    • Quote Templates

    • Solution Design and Requirement Analysis

    • Hands-on CPQ Configuration for prototyping

  • Salesforce CPQ Implementations:

    • At least 2–3 full-lifecycle Salesforce CPQ projects

  • Documentation & BA Skills:

    • BRD, SRS, Gap Analysis, Use Cases

    • Solution Design / Technical Design Documentation

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Experience with US/UK clients

    • End-to-end engagement with business users across geographies

  • Communication & Leadership:

    • Outstanding verbal and written communication

    • Experience conducting whiteboarding/design brainstorming sessions

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Salesforce Certifications:

    • Must Have: Salesforce CPQ Specialist

    • Nice to Have: Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, App Builder, or Advanced Admin

  • Salesforce Configuration / Coding (for POCs):

    • Basic understanding of Apex and Visualforce

    • Ability to create prototype configurations

  • Experience in Multi-Vendor/Multi-Company Environments

Certifications:

  • Mandatory: Salesforce CPQ Specialist

  • Preferred: Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, Advanced Admin

Role Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to gather and analyze business requirements

  • Create detailed documentation including BRDs, SRS, and solution designs

  • Lead CPQ solution design and prototype configurations

  • Facilitate design workshops and user walkthroughs

  • Coordinate with offshore configuration, development, and testing teams

  • Serve as liaison between IT and business stakeholders

  • Ensure timely issue resolution and requirements clarification
