Job Title: Salesforce Developer – Field Service (FSL)
Experience Range:
- Total IT Experience: 5–6 years
- Salesforce Development Experience: Minimum 3–4 years (hands-on coding, configuration, administration)
Hiring Location:
- Primary: Hyderabad/Chennai/Kochi/Trivandrum/Bangalore/Kolkata/Noida/Pune
Must Have Skills:
Salesforce Development:
- Proven hands-on experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL
- Strong development experience with:
- Apex triggers, batch classes, and scheduled jobs
- Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows, and Auto-Launched Flows
- Lightning App Builder, Lightning Record Pages, and Dynamic Forms
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) for integrations
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data model, and deployment lifecycle
Salesforce Field Service (FSL):
- Hands-on experience with the Salesforce Field Service managed package
- Experience customizing the FSL Mobile App, including offline features and custom LWCs
- Knowledge of Work Orders, Service Appointments, Scheduling Policies, and Work Rules
Cloud Expertise:
- Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
- Ability to explain end-to-end configuration and implementation
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with onsite/offshore teams and business stakeholders
Certifications – Required:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I
- Salesforce App Builder Certification
Good to Have Skills:
- Experience with Experience Cloud (Communities)
- Exposure to Agentforce and Salesforce Data Cloud
- Familiarity with Salesforce Release Cycles and new feature adoption
- Understanding of trigger frameworks and best coding practices
- Experience with middleware platforms for integrations (e.g., Mulesoft, Boomi, etc.)
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Hands-on with reporting and dashboards in Salesforce
Certifications – Preferred:
- Salesforce Platform Developer II
- Salesforce Consultant Certifications (Field Service, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
- Salesforce JavaScript Developer Certification
- AI Associate / Data Cloud / Agentforce Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions
- Customize Salesforce using Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms, and Process Automation tools
- Develop custom Lightning Web Components and Screen Flows to enhance field technician experience
- Implement business logic using Apex classes, triggers, and FSL-specific automation
- Configure and customize FSL features such as Scheduling Policies, Service Objectives, and Work Rules
- Support integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
- Collaborate with product owners, BAs, and other developers to gather and implement technical requirements
- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and suggest adoption of relevant features
- Provide UAT and production support, ensuring platform performance and stability
- Monitor and resolve production issues, identify optimizations, and implement enhancements
