Development Manager

The objective is to envision, plan and deliver residential development with excellent design, quality to meet positioning, on time and to budget, whilst minimising risk and realising the optimum profitability for Omniyat and it’s financial partners.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with multiple different business units in order to align the goals of different groups. Once development goals have been established, the

candidate will be responsible for conducting due diligence, budgeting and creating timelines for necessary projects or events. Alongside this, the candidate will also be responsible for cross checking legal responsibilities and contracts related to the organization and ensuring these regulations are followed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and be responsible for achieving the objectives and business outcomes set.
• Undertake initial development analysis & brief, due diligence, feasibility studies and market analyses to obtain approval of initial (and update) business plans inclusive of coordination with all internal stakeholders.
• Oversee the selection and appointment of consultants and contractors to achieve business plan objectives.
• Co-ordinate project team, consultants and contractors with assistance from PM as required.
• In conjunction with Marketing & Sales and Collections teams, monitor, implement and review development, sales and marketing campaigns including launch activities.
• Oversee the implementation of effective project costing and management reporting systems to monitor delivery of projects against agreed budgets and performance targets.
• Provide high level advice and prepare progress and feasibility reports
• Strive for quality and innovative development outcomes and implement quality processes to ensure delivery of outcomes.
• Must have the full capability to read, analyse, and interpret financial reports, together with technical and legal documents.

Qualifications

• Degree in a property related or project management discipline
• 10+ years experience in development management of projects.
• Track record in managing and delivering residential development projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
