Development Manager – Pharmaceutical Industry

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, expand market presence, and forge strong relationships in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the pharma industry, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, partnerships, products, and services.

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business targets.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships.

Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decisions.

Collaborate with marketing, regulatory, R&D, and product teams to align business strategies.

Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings to generate leads and network.

Prepare business proposals, presentations, and reports for stakeholders and management.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

3–5 years of experience in business development/sales in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.

Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities
