Job Description
General Description:
Responsible for testing Android applications to ensure quality, performance, usability, lab conformance, and providing customer-facing lab support. Executes manual and automated tests, validates compliance with lab standards, identifies defects, and collaborates with developers to resolve issues across devices and OS versions.

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks

Ensure applications meet internal lab conformance standards and certification requirements.

Perform regression, integration, system, and acceptance testing.

Identify, document, and track defects; verify fixes and support root cause analysis.

Set up, configure, and maintain lab devices and test environments.

Provide customer-facing lab support, including issue replication, troubleshooting, and test result reporting.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and lab best practices.
Qualifications
Work Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience in Android application testing or mobile QA.

Strong understanding of Android OS, device fragmentation, and application lifecycle.

Experience with automation tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso) and debugging tools (ADB, Logcat).

Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and Agile methodologies.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Experience in testing Android applications to ensure quality, performance, usability, lab conformance, and providing customer-facing lab support. Executes manual and automated tests, validates compliance with lab standards, identifies defects, and collaborates with developers to resolve issues across devices and OS versions.: 3+ years (Preferred)
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in related engineering major (EE, CE, etc.)

Compensation
Additional Information
The expected salary range for this position is $115,000-$120,000 per year. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
