- Good understanding of Salesforce Platform features
- In depth knowledge of Salesforce deployment best practices
- Must be able to lead and mentor the team in adopting release management best practices.
- Must be proficient in Salesforce.com and the related deployment and continuous integration tools
- Good to have Salesforce Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer Certification
- Design software products for enterprise customers based on product strategy and roadmap.
- Experience with build tools and environments including: Git, TravisCI, Jenkins, Java, ant.
- Experience building Salesforce packages and deploying to SAAS.
Responsibilities
- Work with development and QA teams to manage and improve the software release process
- Ability to configure source code and continuous integration tools, develops scripts to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to SDLC
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews and Milestone Reviews
- Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
- Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges
- Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists
- Work with development and QA teams to manage and improve the sojmnioftware release process
