DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our STS team in Cairo, Egypt.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure the smooth operation of existing legacy pipelines.
• Identify and troubleshoot pipeline issues, providing necessary support for resolution.
• Assist in updating and optimizing existing pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Work closely with senior DevOps engineers to enhance and upgrade current build, test, and automation processes.
• Contribute ideas and solutions to improve the speed, reliability, and security of pipelines.
• Participate in the design and implementation of pipeline improvements.
• Research and analyze third-party libraries and their build requirements.
• Develop and maintain recipes, scripts, or configuration files to automate the build and integration of third-party libraries into pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper testing and seamless integration of third-party libraries.
• Actively engage in learning opportunities related to DevOps, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with experienced DevOps professionals to build skills and technical knowledge.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with containerization using Docker (on Linux and Windows) and Kubernetes.
• Scripting experience with Bash and Python.
• Knowledge of Git workflows.
• Experience with source code management tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, and Gitea.
• Experience with pipeline management tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
