DevOps Engineer

Job Purpose

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations teams to ensure fast, secure, reliable, and automated software delivery and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

1. CI/CD and Automation

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot build and release failures.
• Maintain versioning and release management processes.

2. Cloud and Infrastructure Management

• Provision and manage infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Ensure scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Optimize cloud costs and performance.

3. Containers and Orchestration

• Build, manage, and secure Docker container images.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
• Support micro services-based architecture and service communication.

4. Monitoring, Logging, and Security

• Configure monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Cloud-native monitoring.
• Analyze logs and resolve production incidents.
• Implement Develops and security best practices.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and patch management.

5. Collaboration and Documentation

• Work closely with developers to resolve deployment and environment issues.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.

Experience

• Mid Level DevOps Engineer: 2–5 years

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering recognized university or equivalent practical experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs140,000.00 per month
