We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and modern DevOps practices to enhance system performance and ensure smooth development and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, RDS, ECS, Lambda, S3, VPC, CloudFront, etc.).
- Build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies are in place.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline the software release and deployment process.
- Implement and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or ECS).
- Manage access control, networking, and security policies within the AWS environment.
- Automate routine operational tasks to improve system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in development, staging, and production environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure management (AWS preferred).
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) — Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Good understanding of Linux administration, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS), and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
