About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Global IT Integration, Support and DevOps Lead with expertise in Kubernetes to design, lead, and deliver a production-ready solution capable of hosting applications from multiple clients on a private cloud. This role is pivotal in accelerating the delivery of secure, reliable, and modern applications across Vodafone entities worldwide. The solution comprises a unified platform, key applications, and a dashboard to manage the core lifecycle of applications.

What you will do

  • Ensure the availability and reliability of applications, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
  • Lead system migrations, upgrades, and integrations, making strategic decisions on tooling, automation, and deployment.
  • Own incident and problem resolution, prioritising cases based on SLA impact and business criticality.
  • Define and enforce DevOps best practices, including monitoring, automation, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to manage escalations, implement fixes, and drive long-term improvements.

What skills you need

  • Proven experience in system integration and implementation of DevOps tools.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and APIGEE.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in UNIX/Linux administration and IT infrastructure technologies (DNS, Proxy).
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Nexus, SonarQube (highly preferable).
  • Familiarity with AWS and Remedy is a plus.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is advantageous.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  • Skilled in updating technical documentation and maintaining team knowledge bases.
  • Capable of managing multiple open cases simultaneously based on agreed service levels.
