Job Purpose:

To ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through efficient handling of aftersales operations, including service, spare parts, and customer support for BAIC vehicles. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles according to BAIC standards, managing aftersales performance, and ensuring warranty and service processes are followed accurately.

Key Responsibilities:1. Technical & Service Operations

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in BAIC vehicles using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Perform repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance in line with BAIC service standards.
  • Conduct quality checks after repairs to ensure all issues are fully resolved.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the workshop area.
  • Support junior technicians with complex diagnostic and technical issues.

2. Customer Service & Communication

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional manner, understanding their service concerns clearly.
  • Provide accurate estimates for time and cost of repairs.
  • Ensure timely communication with customers regarding job status, completion, and additional repair recommendations.
  • Handle customer feedback or complaints effectively to maintain a high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) score.

3. Warranty & Technical Support

  • Verify warranty eligibility and process claims as per BAIC and company policies.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturer for technical bulletins, recalls, or product updates.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all repair orders, parts usage, and warranty submissions.
  • Support the implementation of technical training and continuous skill improvement.

4. Parts & Inventory Coordination

  • Ensure availability of required spare parts for scheduled maintenance and repairs.
  • Communicate with the parts department for special order items.
  • Monitor stock levels and report slow-moving or fast-moving parts.

5. Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on workshop performance, job completion, and parts consumption.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with BAIC’s technical standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate service history for each vehicle.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems (mechanical, electrical, diagnostic).
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools, scanners, and software (preferably BAIC or similar Chinese vehicle systems).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.
  • Team leadership (for senior roles).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aftersales or technical service (Chinese brands experience preferred – Haval, Changan, MG, Geely, etc.).
  • Certification in automotive diagnostics or manufacturer training is an advantage.
  • UAE driving license preferred.
