MRP is searching for a passionate and agile Die Cutter Operator who is a problem-solvers and excited by challenges and the opportunity to build something great with us. As a Die Cutter Operator in the Cutting Department, you will be responsible for all activities associated with the set-up, make ready, operation, cleanup and order documentation of the die cutting machines in the Aurora facility. This is a fast-paced role where you will leverage your problem-solving abilities and respond quickly to continually changing priorities as you coordinate multiple projects. You will have a critical role in the plant as you will help to ensure the safe and quality cutting of folding carton products.

Capabilities & Experience:
Basic Qualifications
Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standard situations.
Computer Skills – Basic computer skills are required to read work instructions, record job data, follow work schedule, and communicate via email.
Die Cutting Operator experience required.
Time Management.
Detail Oriented.
Technical Capacity.
Problem Solving/Analysis.
Product layouts and production specifications
Ability to communicate and understand all procedures and policies.
Read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
Has good mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Paperboard folding carton industry experience.
Mechanical background preferred.
Paperboard Folding Carton Industry experience preferred.
