Diesel Mechanic

Job Description:

Boss Waste Solutions is a growing waste collection company seeking a dependable Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of garbage trucks and equipment. Job Overview:

· Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered garbage trucks

· Handle preventative maintenance including oil changes, greasing, and inspections

· Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems

· Repair or replace components such as brakes, suspension, pumps, cylinders, and hoses

· Maintain maintenance records and ensure equipment stays road-ready

· Work with operations staff to minimize downtime

· Maintain a safe, clean and organized workspace

Position Qualifications:

· Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

· Experience working on diesel trucks or heavy equipment

· Knowledge of hydraulic systems preferred

· Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues

· Basic tools required (specialty tools provided)

· CDL is a plus but not required

· Dependable and able to work independently

· Problem solving skills
