Diesel Mechanic: Fleet Maintenance (Mid-Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced (*2 years minimum*) Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position focuses on servicing and maintaining fleet vehicles that are medium-to-heavy duty trucks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and the ability to work independently and efficiently, while maintaining high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, services, and DOT inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Diagnose and complete a variety of mechanical tasks, including, but not limited to brakes, air bags and suspension work.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as needed to ensure proper function.
• Communicate repair needs.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic expeirence required.
• Experience working on medium-to-heavy duty trucks.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, inspections, and general truck reapir.
• Ability to diagnose and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic.
• CDL is not required, but a plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
