Digital Account Manager

The Digital Account Manager will have a client portfolio consisting clients for whom you will be fully responsible for servicing. The Digital Account Manager will serve as a main point of contact for clients, handle onboarding, strategy, project management and client maintenance.

The Digital Account Manager will be responsible for full-service management for all clients, including input on digital marketing strategy for clients including drafting, proposing, scheduling, and executing the plan on an ongoing basis. The Digital Account Manager will also be responsible for any work done for the client by other members of the agency or freelancers which might include website development, digital ad management, and SEO efforts which could be delegated to other team members.

It will be the Digital Account Manager’s full responsibility to proactively touch base with each client at least once per month; however, some clients may require more frequent communication via text, emails, or phone calls. The Digital Account Manager will be the primary point of contact for the client. The Digital Account Manager must be knowledgeable in both the client’s business and each team member’s roles and responsibilities.

The Digital Account Manager will have the full support of the leadership team. The Digital Account Manager will be responsible for keeping the leadership team informed on new or difficult tasks or situations that may arise. The leadership team will provide support via training, system development, and/or resources aimed at helping achieve the clients’ objectives.

The Digital Account Manager will have opportunities to earn additional compensation by gaining new business either from existing clients or by bringing in new clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintains continuous client contact.
  • Proactively provide client marketing plans with high value communications.
  • Analyzes client input in conjunction with background knowledge, research, field feedback, etc., to produce full digital marketing plans.
  • Update all tasks, notes and files in project management system.
  • Keeps leadership team informed of progress of client’s projects.
  • Handles all client calls and meetings, take detailed notes or finds resources to assist with note taking
  • While on calls with clients, ask about barriers they are facing, possible opportunities and ask follow up questions to fully understand problems that the client is facing
  • Assign and manage all client workload, including SEO, content, digital ads, and development tasks.
  • Effectively presents, sells, and defends all agency work/proposals to clients.
  • Proactively, think of opportunities for clients to grow, expand or test new digital service offerings.
  • Consistently, check for and responds promptly, to all client communications, including calls, emails, and texts.
  • Generate different types of schema for web pages
  • Edit web pages in WordPress, SquareSpace, and Wix
  • Update article posts on Google Business Profile pages
  • Setup Google Analytics and Google Tag Managers
  • Create meta titles and descriptions for web pages
  • Submit receipts to accounting, if applicable
  • Review and modify alt image tags
  • Review and make suggestions on new page layouts or work with dev team to make updates
  • Review and update header tags to web pages
  • Update internal client information sheets with existing pages
  • Fix internal links to webpages
  • Add internal links on new pages and/or blog posts
  • Evaluate all work performed on the client’s behalf. Provide feedback and quality assurance to ensure all deliverables are completed at a high standard before sending to client for review.
  • Contact clients who are behind on payment.
  • Coordinate with leadership to determine a payment plan to collect.
  • Inform leadership weekly of account progress for all assigned clients; involve leadership immediately in event of potential problems, i.e., client/agency relations, budget overruns, etc.
  • Coordinates project timing and budgets with relevant agency personnel.
  • Continuously work to upgrade knowledge and skills through available reading, courses,

events, and podcasts.

  • Coordinate with leadership team to create estimates and proposals for clients.
  • Understands Google and Meta ads management strategy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $54,000.00 per year
