Role Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Digital Content Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping and executing the digital content strategy for our family-owned business.
The ideal candidate will bring creative thinking and innovation to the management of our website projects, including the development of digital strategies to maximize site traffic, improve SEO, and increase sales conversions, as well as expand our footprint in the digital space.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the optimization of item setup and maintenance to meet standards for all company websites and external customer websites, portals, Excel files, catalogs, etc., including ongoing product maintenance.
- Manage digital assets and content in CMS and internal PIM platforms.
- Lead strategy and execute on SEO, PPC ads, display ads, meta data, title tags, etc. and use of other tools, including Google Analytics, to maximize SEO and buyer conversion.
- Create landing pages and publish marketing collateral through company’s CMS for implementation of digital ads, promos, and maintenance of literature sheet and rep websites.
- Execute large scale product data loads into product database including taxonomy, product setup, and attributes. Manage data feed preparation and reviews for e-commerce partners.
- Perform website data scrubs on all major and select e-commerce customers, working directly with the customer’s content team to provide recommendations on product data improvements, including operational and rich/A+ content.
- Liaise with external parties to ensure company websites are ADA compliant.
- Prepare product and catalog review materials for customer presentations. Coordinate, create, and prepare product and catalog review materials for customers.
- Assist Marketing and Sales departments with miscellaneous projects on an as-needed basis.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to spark creativity and news ways of thinking.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 6+ years of marketing experience, with 4+ years as a Digital Content Manager or in a similar digital marketing role.
- Proven experience in same or similar role, with a strong portfolio of performance showcasing creation and management of digital content across online platforms and social media channels for a brand or organization.
- Intermediate-to-Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other coding/programming languages.
- Intermediate-to-Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment with a strong focus on creative thinking and proactive problem solving.
- Advanced detail-orientation and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities that meet deadlines.
- Proficient in content management systems (CMS), product information management systems (PIM), ADA tools, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint), custom and web-based content management systems, and Vertical Response (or other email marketing platform).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Excellent team, customer, and vendor relationship management skills.
- Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (bachelor’s or associates); experience and/or professional certification in lieu of degree considered.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires sitting and standing in an office environment and the use of Personal Computers, Printers, Phones, Fax Machine, and associated computer peripherals.
- This position will be required to be on-site at our facility in Mt. Prospect, IL.
