We are seeking a Digital Content Producer who will play a critical role in the day-to-day production of timely, engaging, and accurate content. This position is ideal for someone with sharp editorial instincts, a strong eye for digital trends, and the hustle to dig into documents, track down sources, and move quickly on breaking stories.

The Digital Content Producer supports the editorial team by conducting research, pulling records, fact-checking, coordinating outreach, and ensuring stories are packaged for maximum impact across digital platforms. You’ll also monitor news and social media for leads, build relationships with sources, and assist with content publishing and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production of news and feature content across digital platforms.

• Conduct fast, accurate research and background sourcing for breaking, trending, and enterprise stories.

• Pull and analyze public documents (lawsuits, police reports, filings) to support coverage.

• Perform fact-checking across a wide range of beats, including politics, entertainment, social justice, and culture.

• Monitor social media platforms and online communities to surface trends and story leads.

• Identify and contact stakeholders, sources, and experts; coordinate outreach and interviews.

• Transcribe and summarize interviews or hearings with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Assist editors with story development, content packaging, and digital optimization (SEO, headlines, tagging).

• Source visual assets (images, video, embeds) and ensure proper licensing/usage.

• Maintain editorial calendars, contact databases, and tracking systems.

• Serve as a reliable utility player during breaking news or high-volume publishing days.
