Our retail client is seeking a freelance Digital Content Specialist with strong Amazon experience to support the North America Digital Wholesale team in the development and execution of content for Amazon marketing initiatives. You will coordinate and implement content needs to enhance PDP performance and improve the brand store experience. You will also assist the channel marketing team in creating and executing ad campaigns and marketing activations to drive sales for the client.
This position is 100% remote, 40 hr / week, and duration is 1 year.
Major Accountabilities:
Amazon Brand Store Updates:
- Execute brand store updates on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis according to marketing calendar.
- Regularly review and evaluate the overall online store experience and help identify areas for improvement based on results.
- Stay up to date on new tools and beta products available on Amazon.
- Support Sales Ops Analyst with store audits to ensure the cleanliness and accuracy of the client catalog
- Regularly update product imagery, copy, and naming conventions.
- Resolve broken variations or links to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Track SEO optimizations for priority products and organic keywords.
Enhanced PDP Content Creation:
- Assist in the development of enhanced content to showcase the unique features and benefits of the products.
- Assemble assets and upload content using Amazon Vendor Central.
- Edit and audit current A+ copy to ensure accuracy: upload new size charts, insert comparison tables, update with new image assets, etc.
Marketing Support:
- Supports the execution of digital ad campaigns, inclusive of asset creation and campaign deliverables (ASIN lists)
- Manages content portal updates and asset distribution for non- priority accounts (quarterly)
- Assists in seasonal content creation request process
- Assists in sharing monthly reporting and marketing lookaheads
- Assists in maintaining up to date and accurate account plans and calendars
- Opportunity to participate in Go To Market meetings and strategic planning as part of the Digital Wholesale team (held seasonally in Boston).
Requirements for Success:
-College student or graduate with a Graphic Design/Communications/Marketing degree.
-Experience with Amazon strongly preferred.
-Candidate must have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
-Candidate must be deadline oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Candidate must have solid oral and written communications skills, including specific writing experience.
-Candidate must be energetic, have a positive, can-do attitude and experience working in a team environment.
