Digital Marketing and Social Media Executive

The Digital Marketing and Social Media Executive will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing digital content to enhance the organization’s online presence. This role focuses on promoting mental health awareness, increasing audience engagement, and strengthening brand identity through strategic and creative social media initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee all social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube etc.).
  • Develop and execute content calendars and posting schedules.
  • Write engaging and meaningful content/captions aligned with mental health awareness.
  • Create and coordinate creative visual content (in collaboration with designer).
  • Perform social media optimization (SMO) to improve reach, engagement, and visibility.
  • Monitor and respond to audience queries and messages professionally.
  • Develop basic animations / reels / short videos for campaigns.
  • Boosting Post and Run Ads on Meta and Youtube.
  • Track performance and generate monthly analytics reports.
  • Stay updated with social media trends and AI tools for content creation.

ANNUAL DELIVERABLES

  • Develop and execute 12 monthly social media content calendars with 80% on-time posting compliance across all platforms.
  • Increase overall social media followers and audience engagement by at least 15% annually through targeted digital campaigns and SMO strategies.
  • Design and execute a minimum of 6 major digital awareness campaigns annually, including reels, videos, and paid promotional ads.
  • Submit 12 monthly analytics reports with performance insights and recommendations, ensuring continuous improvement in digital reach and engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media Sciences, or relevant field

EXPERIENCE

  • 2–3 years’ demonstrated experience in social media management
  • Experience in NGO/healthcare sector will be an advantage

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and algorithms
  • Content writing and storytelling skills
  • Basic design sense and familiarity with tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
  • Ability to create reels, short videos, and animations
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI, etc.)

  • Proficiency in using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, or similar platforms for content ideation and generation
  • Ability to create AI-assisted captions, scripts, and campaign concepts
  • Understanding of prompt writing for effective AI outputs
  • Familiarity with AI-based design, video, and automation tools
  • Ability to integrate AI tools into daily workflows to improve efficiency and creativity

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

Social media postings

  • 95% of weekly scheduled social media posts across all platforms are published on time according to the content calendar.
  • Social media postings are tracked weekly by the content calendar audit.

Social Media engagement

  • Increase the average engagement rate across all managed social media handles/channels by 12% every quarter.
  • Ensure quarterly tracking of social media engagement using platform-native analytics

Response time

  • Maintain a response time of under four hours during working hours and under 24 hours on weekends for all audience queries and messages, with a 100% response rate to direct messages and comments requiring a reply.
  • Track response time monthly based on the social inbox audit + platform response metrics.
