Digital Marketing Executive - E-Commerce

Job Overview:

The Digital Marketing Executive will develop and implement strategic digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and boost online conversions. This role is essential in managing social media channels, optimizing digital content for E-Commerce platforms, running targeted ad campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure maximum ROI. Experience with E-Commerce tools like Shopify, Magento, and CRMs such as HubSpot will be crucial in optimizing customer journeys, tracking lead behavior, and managing campaigns effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to E-Commerce objectives, including increasing online sales, brand awareness, and customer retention.
  • Leverage analytics from CRMs (HubSpot) and E-Commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento) to optimize marketing spend and improve campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to align digital marketing plans with business goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • E-Commerce Social Media Management:
  • Create, manage, and optimize the brand’s presence across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok) to engage with potential and existing customers.
  • Develop and curate engaging content (graphics, videos, carousel posts) tailored to each platform and audience segment, with a focus on driving conversions.
  • Monitor and respond to customer interactions and inquiries to build a strong, loyal community and foster engagement.
  • Content Creation and Management:
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality digital content, including product imagery, promotional videos, blogs, and ad copy that resonates with target audiences.
  • Write persuasive and SEO-optimized copy for digital campaigns, newsletters, email sequences, and product descriptions to increase engagement and conversions.
  • Maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent execution of content across all channels.
  • SEO and Content Marketing for E-Commerce:
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to optimize product pages, category pages, blogs, and landing pages to drive organic traffic to the website.
  • Utilize SEO tools to monitor rankings and implement ongoing optimizations to improve search visibility and increase conversion rates.
  • Stay up to date with SEO trends and algorithm updates on platforms like Google, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Paid Advertising (PPC) and Campaign Management:
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and LinkedIn Ads to drive targeted traffic to the website.
  • Manage and adjust ad budgets, track performance, and refine ad strategies based on data-driven insights to maximize ROI and reduce cost-per-acquisition (CPA).
  • Utilize retargeting strategies to re-engage visitors and drive conversions, particularly for abandoned carts and product recommendations.
  • Email and SMS Marketing:
  • Develop, execute, and analyze email and SMS campaigns for customer acquisition, retention, and re-engagement, utilizing tools like HubSpot or Klaviyo.
  • Monitor open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics, adjusting messaging, frequency, and segmentation to improve campaign performance.
  • Implement automated workflows, including welcome series, cart abandonment sequences, and post-purchase follow-ups, to increase customer lifetime value (CLV).
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track and measure KPIs related to digital marketing efforts (e.g., traffic, conversions, ROAS) using tools like Google Analytics, Shopify, and social media insights.
  • Generate detailed performance reports for stakeholders, identifying trends and actionable insights to improve ongoing campaigns.
  • Proactively suggest adjustments to strategies based on performance data and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, specifically within an E-Commerce environment.
  • Proven experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot, and E-Commerce platforms like Shopify and Magento.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media algorithms, and digital ad strategies within the E-Commerce landscape.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Canva, Hootsuite).
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from data and implement strategic improvements.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and teamwork skills.
  • Creative mindset with a detail-oriented approach and a knack for developing innovative, data-driven campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
