Digital Marketing Intern

We are hiring a Digital Marketing Intern who wants to learn by doing, not by being spoon fed. This is not a passive internship. You will be expected to think, experiment, and take ownership early.

Who This Role Is For

This role is for someone who:

  • Actively consumes content and thinks beyond aesthetics (why it works, who it’s for, what action it drives)
  • Is curious about multiple marketing disciplines, not just social posting
  • Enjoys experimenting across content, ecommerce, influencers, and tools
  • Is comfortable figuring things out without step‑by‑step instructions
  • Wants to grow into a specialist role (content, ecommerce, growth, influencer, or ops) over time

Who This Role Is NOT For

  • Need constant direction to get started
  • Are only looking for a certificate or line on your CV
  • Avoid feedback or take it personally
  • Expect “creative freedom” without accountability
  • Think social media is just posting designs

What You’ll Actually Do

You will:

  • Create content ideas for Instagram and other platforms (static, carousel, Reels)
  • Write hooks, captions, and basic copy for social and ads
  • Edit short-form videos using CapCut (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)
  • Assist with influencer research, outreach, and collaborations
  • Support ecommerce marketing initiatives (product launches, offers, campaigns)
  • Help with product research and competitive analysis for ecommerce brands
  • Experiment with new AI tools to improve content creation, research, and workflows
  • Assist in PR outreach (brand mentions, collaborations, placements)
  • Help plan, execute, and maintain content calendars
  • Analyze what worked, what didn’t, and why then iterate
  • Support ongoing marketing campaigns and experiments across brands

This is a hands-on role with exposure to multiple marketing disciplines. Observation-only interns do not succeed here.

Skills We Care About

We care more about thinking, curiosity, and effort than tools or years of experience.

You should have:

  • Basic understanding of how Instagram / TikTok / Reels work
  • Willingness to write, test, and improve hooks and copy
  • Comfort with basic tools like Canva and CapCut (or the ability to learn fast)
  • Interest in ecommerce, creators, or internet culture
  • Clear written communication and ability to explain your thinking

Any proof of work content, experiments, pages, side projects is a strong plus.

What You’ll Learn

  • If you show ownership and consistency, you’ll gain exposure to:
  • Content strategy, ideation, and short‑form video editing
  • Copywriting fundamentals (hooks, captions, CTAs)
  • Influencer discovery, outreach, and collaboration workflows
  • Ecommerce marketing (product launches, offers, research, positioning)
  • Using AI tools to speed up research, content, and operations
  • PR basics and brand visibility tactics
  • How to analyze performance and iterate based on real signals

This role is designed to help you discover what you’re good at and grow into a focused full‑time role over time.
