Company Overview:
We are a leading blockchain technology company operating a noncustodial wallet, a cryptocurrency exchange, and a commodity token issuer. Our mission is to empower users with secure, decentralized financial solutions and drive the adoption of Web3 technologies. We are seeking a visionary Head of Web3 Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and amplify our brand in the rapidly evolving blockchain and crypto space.
Job Summary:
The Head of Web3 Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote our noncustodial wallet, crypto exchange, and commodity token offerings. This role requires deep expertise in Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency ecosystems, combined with proven marketing leadership to drive user acquisition, engagement, and brand loyalty. The ideal candidate will bridge traditional marketing strategies with Web3-native approaches, leveraging decentralized communities, influencers, and innovative campaigns to position the company as a leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s goals for its noncustodial wallet, crypto exchange, and commodity token products.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user acquisition, retention, trading volume, wallet adoption, and token utilization.
• Stay ahead of Web3 trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform marketing strategies.
• Brand Development:
• Build and enhance the company’s brand identity as a trusted, user-centric leader in the Web3 and blockchain space.
• Oversee the creation of compelling, consistent messaging across all platforms, emphasizing security, decentralization, and user empowerment.
• Position the company’s noncustodial wallet, exchange, and token as go-to solutions for both retail and institutional audiences.
• Community Engagement & Web3-Native Marketing:
• Foster and grow vibrant communities across platforms like Discord, Telegram, Twitter/X, and other Web3-native channels.
• Collaborate with decentralized communities, DAOs, and influencers to amplify brand reach and credibility.
• Develop campaigns leveraging NFTs, airdrops, token incentives, and gamification to drive engagement and adoption.
• Content & Thought Leadership:
• Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, videos, and tutorials, to educate users about the wallet, exchange, and token ecosystem.
• Position the company as a thought leader through speaking engagements, webinars, and partnerships with industry events.
• Ensure content is tailored to diverse audiences, from crypto beginners to advanced traders and developers.
• Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth:
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with DeFi protocols, blockchain projects, and other Web3 platforms to enhance product visibility and interoperability.
• Collaborate with token issuers, liquidity providers, and other ecosystem participants to drive token adoption and exchange activity.
• Performance Marketing & Analytics:
• Lead performance marketing campaigns, including paid ads, affiliate programs, and referral initiatives, optimized for Web3 audiences.
• Utilize on-chain analytics, attribution tools, and Web3-specific metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize ROI.
• Monitor competitor strategies and market trends to refine marketing tactics.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration:
• Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, including Web3 community managers, content creators, and growth marketers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure marketing aligns with technical capabilities and regulatory requirements.
• Manage external agencies, freelancers, and vendors to execute campaigns efficiently.
• Compliance & Risk Management:
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations in the jurisdictions where the company operates.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape for crypto and token marketing.
Qualifications:
• Experience:
• 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in Web3, blockchain, or cryptocurrency marketing roles.
• Proven track record of leading successful marketing campaigns for crypto wallets, exchanges, or token projects.
• Experience building and engaging decentralized communities in the Web3 ecosystem.
• Skills & Knowledge:
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, noncustodial wallets, decentralized exchanges, and tokenomics.
• Expertise in Web3 marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Discord, Twitter/X, on-chain analytics, NFT marketplaces).
• Strong grasp of performance marketing, SEO, content strategy, and social media in a Web3 context.
• Familiarity with regulatory considerations for crypto marketing (e.g., SEC, CFTC, GDPR).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Certifications or coursework in blockchain, crypto, or Web3 technologies are a plus.
• Personal Attributes:
• Passionate about decentralization, financial sovereignty, and the Web3 movement.
• Creative, data-driven, and adaptable to the fast-paced crypto industry.
• Comfortable working in a remote, globally distributed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience marketing noncustodial wallets or decentralized exchanges.
• Established network of contacts in the Web3 and crypto industry.
• Hands-on experience with token launches, airdrops, or DeFi integrations.
