Digital Marketing Manager

India

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that effectively promote the resort across regional and national markets, with a specific focus on lead generation and brand positioning in Bangalore and Chennai.

This role requires a dynamic and experienced professional who can translate the resort’s brand ethos into impactful digital narratives across multiple platforms — driving measurable business results in occupancy, events, and F&B sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop, implement, and manage the resort’s digital marketing roadmap in alignment with the business and sales objectives.
  • Create market-specific campaigns targeting Bangalore and Chennai audiences to drive direct bookings and brand recall.
  • Design and execute seasonal and thematic online marketing campaigns to maximize occupancy and engagement.

2. Digital Presence Management

  • Oversee the resort’s official website, ensuring SEO optimization, updated content, and intuitive UX design.
  • Manage and enhance the resort’s presence across all relevant social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Threads, etc.).
  • Optimize paid marketing channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube pre-rolls, and programmatic campaigns) for maximum ROI.

3. Content Creation & Brand Communication

  • Conceptualize, curate, and manage high-quality content (visual, video, and written) that reflects the luxury positioning of the resort.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and content creators to develop destination-focused storytelling campaigns.
  • Ensure all digital communication adheres to brand guidelines and delivers consistent tone and style.

4. Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Establish measurable KPIs for all digital activities — including engagement, CTR, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Monitor campaign performance through analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.) and prepare periodic reports.
  • Use insights to fine-tune strategies and improve performance.

5. CRM & Lead Generation

  • Integrate and manage digital marketing efforts with CRM systems to nurture leads from Bangalore and Chennai.
  • Implement remarketing and marketing automation campaigns to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Drive direct website traffic and reduce dependence on OTAs through effective digital communication.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with the Sales, Revenue, F&B, and Events teams to ensure synergy between online promotions and on-ground activities.
  • Coordinate with PR agencies, digital partners, and influencers to enhance brand visibility.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification (MBA or PGDM in Marketing/Digital Marketing) is highly desirable.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in digital marketing, preferably within the hospitality, luxury, or travel industry.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and performance marketing campaigns for regional markets (especially Bangalore and Chennai).
  • Core Competencies:
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written) with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Ads, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, and Influencer Management.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Tag Manager, Search Console, and other performance tracking tools.
  • Expertise in email marketing, marketing automation, and CRM integration (HubSpot / Salesforce / Zoho).
  • Experience in budget planning, vendor management, and ROI analysis.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, execute, and measure 360° digital campaigns.

Desirable Qualifications & Attributes

  • Certification in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or Meta Blueprint.
  • Familiarity with hospitality CRM systems and booking engines.
  • Experience in influencer collaborations and destination storytelling.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent) for content supervision.
  • Fluency in Tamil or Kannada would be an added advantage for regional campaign coordination.
  • Creative thinker with strong aesthetic sensibility aligned with luxury branding.
  • Ability to manage external agencies, creative partners, and internal stakeholders effectively.

  • Growth in qualified leads and direct bookings from Bangalore and Chennai markets.
  • Improved website traffic and conversion rates.
  • Increased social media engagement and follower growth across digital platforms.
  • ROI on paid campaigns and reduction in cost per acquisition (CPA).
  • Enhancement of online brand sentiment and visibility through consistent digital storytelling.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹53,331.03 per month
