PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Digital Marketing Specialist advances the mission of Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) by leading and executing strategic digital communications—primarily through email and social media—that promote each of Love INC’s offerings with clarity and purpose. This is not simply an implementation role, but a strategic position for an experienced professional who can take ownership of forward-looking digital strategy, continually analyze and refine our approach, and grow the reach, engagement, and impact of the Love INC Movement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Email Communications - 50%
  • Develop, implement, and continually seek to improve strategy for affiliate email communications.
  • Develop and manage yearly email content schedule.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to develop content that effectively informs and persuades various audiences.
  • Build and maintain up-to-date mailing lists for targeted audiences.
  • Build and send individual emails and series automations in Mailchimp.
  • Analyze email metrics to develop monthly reports with suggested continual improvements.
  • Social Media—30%
  • Create and maintain annual social media content calendar
  • Write, design, create reels, and edit social media content (posts, reels, etc) across our current and future suite of platforms (Meta, Youtube, Linkedin).
  • Analyze metrics to develop monthly reports with suggested continual improvements/strategy adjustments.
  • Partner with Director of MarComm to develop, set up, and manage meta ad campaigns
  • Website—5-10%
  • Use Wordpress to create and maintain landing pages, as needed.
  • Special Projects—5-10%
  • Video editing as needed.
  • Assist with the content creation, editing, proofreading, and production/mailing of ongoing and one-time marketing projects, such as our annual report, National Gathering needs, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated project manager able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) including automation and analytics.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later).
  • Experience creating digital content using Canva or similar design tools, with a solid understanding of information hierarchy and basic graphic design principles.
  • Working knowledge of website content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and digital best practices.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and SEO principles preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into strategic improvements.
  • Technically adaptable, with the ability to independently learn new platforms and tools.
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication and listening skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field required (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional digital marketing experience.
  • A committed Christian who affirms and is passionate about the mission of Love In the Name of Christ and the calling of local churches to care for, serve, and share the love of Christ in their communities.

STAFF RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to and works with the Director of Marketing and Communications. This position also works cooperatively with other National Staff to accomplish responsibilities of the position.

LOCATION
Love INC National is a virtual work environment. As a virtual office, video conferencing is frequently and consistently used to foster collaboration among team members and affiliate partners, facilitating effective communication, and teamwork. Employees are to establish a distraction-free work environment that provides uninterrupted time with dedicated work hours at home or at a donated space in their community. A computer is provided along with a $100/month stipend to offset virtual office needs.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel is typically one trip per year of three to four days. Depending on location there could be an occasional day trip to nearby affiliates or training sites to capture social content.

JOB TYPE
Non-exempt, 20 hours/week

COMPENSATION + BENEFITS

  • Pay Rate: $22 per hour
  • Paid Time Off: Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, spiritual enrichment time, and 10 paid holidays annually
