Overview
The New York Athletic Club, one of the world's leading private clubs, is in search of a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to drive our historic brand's identity through cutting-edge digital engagement.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of the NYAC across digital, tangible, and print platforms. This creative professional will design and produce engaging digital materials that reflect the Club’s heritage while supporting its modern communications, marketing, and member engagement goals. This role offers a unique blend between social media management and graphic design and will report to the Digital Marketing Manager. Flexible hours with the possibility of working evening and weekends to document Club events. Relevant portfolio examples required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create, draft and publish content for all social media platforms utilized by the Club.
- Conceptualize and design both print and digital assets including event flyers, menus, signage, invitations, newsletters, flipping books, and social media graphics.
- Maintain and evolve the NYAC brand identity across all visual touchpoints, ensuring consistency in style, tone, and quality.
- Capture photos and short videos of Club events – Social activities, Athletic events, etc.
- Manage NYAC content calendar to ensure timely posting.
- Monitor and report on Social Media analytics.
- Collaborate with internal departments (athletics, events, dining, retail, communications, etc.) to produce materials that meet their needs.
- Create digital assets for the Club website, app, and email campaigns.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines and priorities.
- Stay current with design trends while honoring the Club’s historic brand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Marketing or related field or 2–5 years of professional design experience (in-house or agency).
- Familiarity with Adobe’s Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), Canva, Figma or other digital tools.
- Familiarity with Social Media platforms and tools.
- Familiarity with Club/CRM databases such as Jonas, but not required.
- Photography and Videography skills. Editing apps and software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of print production processes and digital design best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to take direction while also bringing fresh, creative ideas.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
