Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist with IT Support Duties plays a dual role in driving brand visibility and business growth through strategic digital marketing efforts while providing essential first-level IT support to ensure operational efficiency. This position blends creativity with technical skill to maintain digital assets, support internal users, and assist in the execution of marketing and technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
- Develop, implement, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote the company's services and brand across multiple locations/divisions.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics for websites, email campaigns, and social media using analytics tools.
- Create engaging content for web, blogs, email newsletters, and social media channels.
- Manage and optimize company social media accounts including scheduling, engagement, and growth.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and threats per division.
- Collaborate with division Service Managers and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Coordinate design and production of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
- Manage website updates and AEO & SEO/SEM campaigns to drive traffic and improve user experience.
- Assist as needed in video production and editing for marketing and training purposes in collaboration with divisions.
- Stay current on digital trends, algorithms, and emerging tools to recommend new marketing strategies.
IT Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal IT support issues related to marketing and administrative systems.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software for marketing and both division and admin team members.
- Maintain marketing tech stack (e.g., CRM, email platforms, analytics tools) and liaise with vendors as needed.
- Collaborate with IT on the rollout of new technologies, digital assets, or system upgrades.
- Maintain IT inventory, ensuring all marketing systems are properly licensed and secured.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on digital platforms, collaboration tools, and IT best practices.
- Identify and recommend improvements in digital infrastructure to enhance productivity.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, required, or necessary to meet business needs, including special projects and support tasks that may not be specifically listed above.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Digital Media, or related field.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in digital marketing and/or IT support roles.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, tools, and analytics.
- Basic knowledge of IT troubleshooting, network systems, and digital integrations.
- Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, SEO tools, CMS platforms, and CRM systems.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual content creation skills.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach.
Preferred Skills
- Google Analytics certification or equivalent digital marketing certifications.
- Experience with WordPress, HTML/CSS, and website management.
