SUMMARY
The Digital Workplace Engineer delivers technical support and engineering for Sunwest Bank’s digital workplace
environment, focusing on endpoint management, user experience, SharePoint, patching, and updates. This role
supports the transition from legacy desktop support to a modern, user-centric digital workplace, driving continuous
improvement and operational excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical support for endpoints (Windows, Mac, mobile) and resolve user issues via ticketing
systems (Ivanti, Jira, etc.)
  • Support onboarding/offboarding, user access, and lifecycle management for internal applications and
platforms.
  • Engineer, deploy, and maintain digital workplace solutions, including SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
MDM/Autopilot
  • Assist with patching, updates, and compliance for all endpoints.
  • Document procedures, resolutions, and best practices for digital workplace operations.
  • Collaborate with IT, InfoSec, and business teams to optimize user experience and service delivery.
  • Participate in cost-saving initiatives, vendor management, and contract reviews as needed
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance (SOX, GLBA, BSA/AML,
etc.).
  • Contribute to process improvement and modernization of digital workplace tools and workflows.

  • Attends training and maintains a basic knowledge of procedures to ensure compliance with laws and
regulations governing financial institutions, as they apply to your position and job responsibilities, with an
emphasis on the BSA/AML/CIP, Consumer Privacy, Regulation CC, Information Security, Bank Protection
Act, FACT-Identity Theft, Information Technology and GLBA.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, endpoint engineering, or digital workplace environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and modern endpoint management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
