You, our Ideal Candidate
You are a service-oriented and experienced dining professional with a passion for leading and mentoring others. You model exceptional service, have a strong understanding of dining operations, and bring enthusiasm to training and supporting team members while ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.
You are a service-oriented and experienced dining professional with a passion for leading and mentoring others. You model exceptional service, have a strong understanding of dining operations, and bring enthusiasm to training and supporting team members while ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.
Responsibilities
- Operate as a model Dining Server and provide real-time coaching to team members
- Train and onboard newly hired Dining Servers in alignment with LEC standards
- Serve meals to residents in dining areas and rooms in a timely, friendly manner
- Ensure compliance with special diet regulations
- Perform and oversee cleaning duties and prep for next meal service
- Wash dishes and maintain sanitation standards, ensuring utensils and equipment are ready
- Record and monitor food and dish machine temperatures; report irregularities
- Flexibly support various dining venues across the campus
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior dining server experience in a continuing care community or hospital preferred
- Strong customer service background and orientation
- Be reliable and punctual
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
