Key Responsibilities
- Lead dining hall team during shifts to deliver efficient, high-quality service.
- Assign tasks during pre-shift briefings, communicating menu specials, promotions, and priorities.
- Oversee accurate order-taking, timely delivery, and proper presentation of food and beverages.
- Ensure dining hall readiness, including cleanliness of floors, surfaces, furniture, washrooms, and complete table setups.
- Manage daily operational checklist: cleaning (floors, walls, glass, dustbins, signage), equipment checks (IT systems, KOT, credit card machines, LCDs, fire extinguishers), and readiness (petty cash, reservations, water quality, cutlery).
- Supervise Sunday tasks: clean external MS platforms, wash AC filters, and internal/external dustbins, ensuring photographic evidence is shared.
- Enforce staff hygiene, uniform, and grooming standards; monitor attendance and report issues to the Supervisor.
- Maintain equipment and utilities; update maintenance and water tank cleaning records; share meter readings via WhatsApp.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to the Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, hygiene, and food safety standards; foster teamwork and a guest-first approach.
- Provide staff performance feedback, escalating attendance or behavioral concerns to the Supervisor.
- Execute closing procedures, securing IDs and reporting issues with photographic evidence.
Requirements
- Intermediate education (Bachelor’s in hospitality preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in dining/service operations, preferably in a senior waiter or team lead role.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to manage teams during busy shifts.
- Good knowledge of guest service, food handling, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy, including MS Office (with Excel experience preferred).
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
