We are urgently hiring Direct Support Professionals for ALL shifts.

Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Schedule Options (consistent weekly schedule):

• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Urgently Hiring!)
• 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend Day Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekend Night Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Urgently Hiring!)

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence in a home or community setting. Your contributions will significantly impact the lives of those you serve, helping them achieve their personal goals and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, cooking, and household tasks.
• Provide support in community integration activities, encouraging social interaction and participation.
• Monitor the health and safety of clients, ensuring a safe environment at all times.
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Engage in meaningful activities that promote skill development and personal growth.
• Assist with heavy lifting as needed for mobility or transportation of clients.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behavior or health status.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of clients.

Experience

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with home community care practices is highly desirable.
• Skills in direct support within a group home setting are advantageous.
• Certification in CPR and first aid is a plus.
• Experience in patient monitoring or hospice care is beneficial but not required.
• A caring attitude and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
