Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing behavior, and reporting any concerns promptly
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with care plans
• Administer medications following HIPAA guidelines and prescribed schedules under supervision
• Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe transfer of residents to prevent injury
• Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control standards
• Support clients during community outings or activities to foster social engagement and independence

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care environments; group home experience is highly valued
• Knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, first aid, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, autism support, and hospice care
• Ability to accurately monitor vital signs and observe patient behavior for changes in condition
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and families
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility; comfortable working in demanding environments
• Compassionate attitude with a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities or aging needs

**Requirements:** Valid SC Driver’s License (REQUIRED) HS Diploma/GED (college transcripts if applicable) Background checks (SLED & DSS) Clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs TB test & drug screening **Start a rewarding career helping others live their best lives!**
