Summary

As a Direct Care Worker at Point Of Hope Inc., you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals with diverse needs. This position is essential in helping our clients lead fulfilling lives while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and support to clients in their daily activities.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
• Monitor clients' health status, including vital signs and overall well-being.
• Implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs and goals.
• Support clients in achieving personal goals through encouragement and guidance.
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients.
• Document client progress and report any changes in condition to supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to care.
• Ability to monitor patients’ health and report changes effectively.
• Knowledge of assisted living practices and patient care techniques.
• First aid certification is a plus but not mandatory.
