Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Lawn Crew

We are hiring at PHASE-Industries for Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our lawn crew program. This staff member would oversee a crew of 3-4 lawn care team members, responsible for safety, quality and provide customer service for both residential and commercial costumers. We are looking for caring and compassionate people who are fun, caring, and have a positive attitude. This individual wants to make a difference in the lives of adults with disabilities and help support and teach them the skills to obtain employment and gain independence. A DSP works closely with our Program Individuals providing person centered, community inclusive supports, supervision, daily living skills, teaching, and overall support in a work environment. The position will be placed as our Lawn Crew Lead and when there is no lawn crew to do, work in other areas as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid MN Driver's License with clear driving record
• Must be able to back up a trailer
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a MN DHS Background Study
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• One year of direct care experience preferred but not required
• Ability to run lawn equipment
