Direct Support Staff Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living tasks: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to build social connections.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans to meet each client's unique needs and goals.
• Monitor health, behavior, and progress; document observations and report changes promptly.
• Advocate for clients' rights and ensure they are treated with respect and dignity at all times.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, families, and team members to coordinate quality care.
• Participate in required training (first aid, care techniques, resident rights, etc.).
• Engage clients in meaningful recreational and community activities to support physical and mental well-being.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
