Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to lead our organization’s AI strategy and innovation initiatives. Duties

• Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with organizational goals, leveraging expertise in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of AI models and algorithms using programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, and frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, and React Express.
• Oversee the integration of AI solutions with existing IT infrastructure including cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, virtualization environments such as vSphere, and enterprise systems like ERP and databases (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Manage cross-disciplinary teams comprising data scientists, software engineers, system administrators, and cybersecurity specialists to ensure project success within Agile development cycles.
• Establish best practices for data governance, security protocols (including PCI compliance), risk management, disaster recovery plans, and adherence to NIST standards for information security.
• Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies such as AI-powered automation tools, APIs for system interoperability, and advanced analytics for business intelligence.
• Maintain vendor relationships for AI tools and cloud services while managing budgets effectively to support scalable growth initiatives.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through change management processes and professional development opportunities in areas like DevOps, system design, network security, and IT governance.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale AI projects or teams within a complex enterprise environment.
• Extensive knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), programming languages (Python, JavaScript), and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure along with virtualization technologies including vSphere.
• Hands-on experience with database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, MongoDB; familiarity with ETL processes; expertise in data warehouses.
• Deep familiarity with network infrastructure including VPNs, MPLS networks, DNS management; proficiency in network security protocols such as firewalls and SAN storage solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior leadership while demonstrating strategic thinking in project planning.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks including NIST standards; experience in risk management practices; understanding of intellectual property law related to technology innovations.
• Strong analytical skills combined with expertise in system design, application development (.NET framework), API integration, DevOps practices, and business continuity planning.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
