Job Purpose: Direct the development and implementation of ARDARA’s corporate communication strategy aimed at building and maintaining ARDARA’s brand and reputation within the external environment locally and globally.


Job-Specific Accountabilities:


External Communications (PR and Media Relations)

  • Direct the development of public and media relations strategy and plans in line with ARDARA's strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Ensure the identification of opportunities to develop and maintain favorable relationships with relevant media entities across events, exhibitions, and other relevant activities.

Internal Communications and Employee Engagement

  • Direct the development of an internal communications strategy and plan to support overall employee engagement in line with business needs and requirements.

Stakeholder Mapping and Engagement

  • Map Ardara’s stakeholders and develop an engagement plan. Coordinate with internal & external stakeholders and regulators as required for the execution of the events & activations plan.

Content Development

  • Direct the development of core messages and make sure all the corporate content is aligned brand messages.

Events, Activations & Sponsorships

  • Lead the development of ARDARA’s events, activations & sponsorship plans including calendar and timings, budget, delivery approach and other requirements to ensure compliance with ARDARA’s goals and objectives.
  • Direct the planning of events, activations & sponsorships from concept to finish, based on agreed upon objectives and expected outcomes.
  • Manage agreements with relevant third parties service providers required to deliver on the events plan, including event planners and companies, cultural performers, sports events organizers, music concerts organizers, and others.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

  • Lead the design and implementation of ARDARA’s CSR strategy, ensuring initiatives align with the company’s vision, mission, and community engagement goals.

Social Media:

  • Lead the development of a digital and social media strategy and plan to effectively utilize and leverage ARDARA’s digital and social media platforms in correspondence with relevant agencies.
  • Manage ARDARA’s external platforms including website and social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) in collaboration with relevant functions.
  • Direct the implementation of appropriate analytics to measure, evaluate and report against goals and performance of social media activities.


Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing and Sales or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing and Sales or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is desirable.


Experience:

  • 14+ years of professional experience in Corporate Communications and events in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in a development organization.
  • A proven track record of dynamic and successful corporate communications, marketing, promotional campaigns, and communication management.
