About The Role

The role is ideally suited for what we passionately call ‘Wapistanis’ – regional expats in US/Canada/Europe/Australia, looking to move back closer to home in a senior management role.

We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead and scale our data engineering function within a fast-paced, data-driven environment. In this role, the individual will take ownership of engineering strategy and execution, oversee engineering operations and teams, and drive technical excellence across platforms.

As a senior leader, the role involves mentoring engineers, establishing best practices, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality data solutions while working closely with stakeholders and reporting directly to the CTO.

Profile

• 10–15 years of professional experience in software development or tech consulting with experience of delivering complex IT projects
• At least 5 years of work experience in the Americas, Europe or GCC (not remote, actually based there)
