Position: Director – Engineering Services

Location: Karachi

Industry: Healthcare / Infrastructure

Experience: 15+ years in civil construction, infrastructure development, or engineering project management. Experience in hospital construction, design, renovation, or expansion will be highly preferred.

Leadership: Minimum 5 years in a senior role such as GM Engineering, Head of Construction, or Director Engineering.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead and oversee civil construction projects, including hospital expansion, renovation, and infrastructure development.

-Manage planning, execution, and completion of construction projects while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

-Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

-Supervise engineering operations including building structures, utilities, and infrastructure systems within the hospital facility.

Ensure effective maintenance and reliability of critical engineering systems such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, generators, and medical gas systems.

-Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for hospital infrastructure.

-Monitor construction budgets, project costs, and resource utilization to ensure financial efficiency.

-Manage contractor performance, vendor relationships, and procurement related to engineering and construction activities.

-Ensure adherence to health, safety, and engineering compliance standards relevant to healthcare facilities.

-Contribute to strategic planning for future infrastructure expansion and facility development.

-Professional certifications in Project Management or Construction Management will be considered an advantage.

-Strong experience in large-scale construction projects, including hospitals, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, or major infrastructure projects.

-Experience managing contractors, consultants, and complex construction projects from planning to completion.
