Senior Electrical Engineer – Traffic Signals & Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 7–10 years of experience in the traffic safety and intelligent transportation industry. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in the design, manufacturing, installation, and project management of traffic control and ITS systems.

The role involves working on projects related to traffic signal systems, street lighting infrastructure, RFID-based systems, and other Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). The candidate will be responsible for handling projects from manufacturing and technical design to installation, testing, and commissioning.

This is a full-time on-site position requiring coordination with engineering teams, production units, and field installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the manufacturing of traffic signal systems, controllers, and related electrical components
• Plan and manage street lighting systems and electrical infrastructure
• Lead and execute ITS projects including RFID systems, traffic monitoring solutions, and smart traffic management systems
• Prepare and review electrical schematics, technical drawings, and system layouts
• Manage project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning
• Coordinate with civil teams, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, electrical safety codes, and project specifications
• Prepare technical documentation, BOQs, project reports, and system specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7–10 years of industry experience in traffic safety, ITS, or transportation infrastructure
• Strong experience with traffic signal systems and street lighting projects
• Knowledge of RFID-based systems and intelligent transportation technologies
• Experience managing technical teams and field installations
• Ability to prepare and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on traffic signalization projects, smart city projects, or highway ITS systems
• Knowledge of CCTV integration, ANPR systems, and traffic control centers
• Experience dealing with government or infrastructure development projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
