Building Transportation System Mechanical Specialist

Position Summary:

BTS Mechanical Specialist (Building Transportation System) responsible for the operation, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of Building Transportation Systems including elevators, escalators, travelators, and passenger walkways at Islamabad New Airport. The role ensures reliable system performance, safety compliance, and efficient coordination with technical and operational teams.

Job Description:
- Installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of elevators, escalators, travelators, and passenger walkways.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of BTS mechanical systems.
- Monitor mechanical performance to ensure safe and reliable system operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and coordinate repairs when required.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, safety regulations, and technical specifications.
- Support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and system commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with electrical specialists, technicians, and operations teams.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and inspection documentation.

Job Specification:
- BE / BS in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of cumulative experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and operation & maintenance (O&M).
- Hands-on experience with elevators, escalators, travelators, and passenger walkways.
- Experience in large infrastructure facilities such as airports, metro stations, commercial complexes, or high-rise buildings will be preferred.

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator mechanical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with safety standards and operational protocols.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in shift-based operational environments.

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs175,000.00 per month
