MTO – Civil Engineering

We are looking for a motivated Management Trainee Officer (MTO) in Civil Engineering with a keen interest in finishing works. This role offers structured on-site exposure, mentorship, and hands-on involvement in construction finishing activities across various project environments, building the foundation for a strong career in project management and site engineering.

Qualification:

BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized institute

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily site activities and report progress to the project team
• Review drawings and finish schedules to ensure site execution matches approved designs
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and material vendors for smooth site operations
• Inspect finishing elements including flooring, ceilings, paint, woodwork, and glazing
• Identify site issues and escalate them promptly for resolution
• Maintain accurate site records, daily logs, and progress reports
• Ensure materials used on site meet project specifications and quality standards
• Prepare punch lists and snag reports during project closeout
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of construction finishing methods and material applications
• Familiarity with civil engineering principles and construction documentation
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or other civil engineering software is an advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills across site teams
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced site environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
