As a director of Equipment Engineering, you will set the strategy of equipment engineering, keep talented team stable and efficient, monitor the activities of advanced cell manufacturing equipment design, layout planning, capacity balancing, FAT, SAT, production ramp-up, OEE improvement, continuous optimization and upgrading of existed line, spare part cost management, balance production and equipment pre-maintenance, control MTTR, MTBF, improve yield,
In this role, you will have opportunities to access to latest cell manufacturing equipment technologies around the world and shape the innovative battery cell solutions for meeting TTI’s power output and energy storage requirements for a variety of products.
Set competitive, proactive strategies of company cell manufacturing equipment
Cultivate process team and coach key team members to maintain a robust and professional output.
Enhance team member’s cost and quality mindset through actual cases, use statistical approach to coach team and improve output
Lead team to design and develop advanced high-power cell manufacturing technologies, which enables large-scale production of next-generation, meet TTI’s product roadmap.
Guide team to think and analyze equipment bottleneck, defect, together with TTi internal resources and external vendors to keep cell equipment design and operation at higher level.
Develop equipment the technology evaluation plan, identify the required resources, set up timelines, prioritize tasks, troubleshoot problems, and assess technical feasibility and commercial viability.
Effectively communicate the ideas and results both internally and externally, make sure each level can get exact, precise message.
Monitor equipment projects status, provide updates, deliver reports/presentations regarding the current and future development activities, and make recommendations.
Identify the patentable inventions and generate IPs.
