Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a visionary and results-oriented professional for the position of Director - Finance Operational Readiness. This leadership role is essential in preparing the finance function for new operational initiatives and projects, ensuring that financial processes, systems, and teams are fully equipped to support the ambitious objectives of our entertainment and cultural developments.

Your expertise will drive the establishment of best practices in financial readiness, defining the necessary frameworks and resources to ensure seamless project execution. In this strategic position, you will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across financial and operational teams while fostering a culture of readiness and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the finance operational readiness strategy for new projects, ensuring the finance team is prepared to support operational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to identify finance-related requirements for projects and ensure successful integration into program plans.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of financial processes, systems, and controls necessary for operational readiness.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure finance operational readiness and effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership in change management, ensuring that finance teams are adaptable and equipped to handle new initiatives.
  • Train and mentor finance teams to enhance their capabilities in supporting operational objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in finance operations, promoting efficiency and best practices.
  • Act as a key point of contact for finance-related inquiries during project development, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting.
  • A minimum of 15+ years of experience in financial management or finance operations, with a strong focus on operational readiness in large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw insights from financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in change management and driving teams through transformation processes.
  • Knowledge of the entertainment and cultural sector would be an advantage.
